Ira Marks Commercial Realty came into existence in 1998, but had been conceived during 20 years of high-stakes brokerage activity in Miami with the Keyes Company, the largest independent real estate agency in the southeast, and further nurtured by 10 years of real estate practice in Vero Beach with a local firm. The notion of offering superior service to a limited number of clients, both buyers and sellers, almost disappeared during the go-go days of the 70’s and 80’s in South Florida, and was practically non-existent in the adolescent commercial market of Indian River County. That then became my niche- a single practioner with the background and expertise of a big-city broker, focused on a few select clients, offering true one-on-one counseling and brokerage services and as one person, accountable.

Ira Marks, CCIM, was, for several years running, the top commission earner out of over 3000 Keyes Company salespeople, with over $175,000,000 in closed transactions, while a manager of 60 commercial men and women agents in the downtown Miami office. He has participated in many of the larger real estate transactions here in Vero Beach since arriving in 1989. He earned the coveted designation in 1987.

Mr. Marks served on the SR 60 Corridor Task Force and was chairman of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce Industrial Parks Committee.
